About CMRC
The Capital
Markets Research Center (CMRC) is an integral part of the educational
programs of The McDonough School of Business. CMRC is an academic entity
dedicated to developing and disseminating research and policy analysis on
domestic and global financial issues. Established in 1988, the Center
pursues this mission by providing programs for the private and public
sectors, as well as for academicians and students. The Center’s programs
focus on relationships among financial decision-making, disclosure, and
capital formation. |

FMA Chapter Receives National Honors Georgetown's Chapter
of the Financial Management Association (FMA) was honored as a
Superior Chapter (given to fewer than 5% of FMA chapters nationally)
and given the Silver Membership Development Award (only given to
chapters recruiting over 75 new members annually).

Careers in Accounting Representatives from
PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ernst & Young, Deloitte and KPMG came to
Georgetown to provide a look at life as a part of a global
accounting firm. A reception followed the event for networking
